For the Italian luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo's new Spring / Summer'21 collection, creative director Paul Edrew drew inspiration from the thrilling films of Alfred Hitchcock. And the most cinematic part of the collection is footwear, the style of which can be called both vintage and futuristic.
Paul Andrew himself, talking about the creation of the collection, admitted: “This spring, stuck at home, I revisited the classics of Hitchcock, in particular“ Marnie ”,“ Birds ”and“ Dizziness ”. In the past, watching these films always felt like you were entering a surreal and strange world. But watching them during isolation was different: it felt "real life" because "real life" itself suddenly became so strange, surreal and strangely beautiful. "
High closed toe, square toe, almond shape, thin straps and cantilever heels, reminiscent of the letter F in the brand's logo, are details of the Salvatore Ferragamo shoe collection spring-summer 2021.
