GDS exhibition invites visitors to reserve meetings for September
Event endedThe management of the International Shoe Trade Fair GDS , which takes place twice a year – in March and February – in Düsseldorf, offers visitors the opportunity to book appointments for September using matchmaking.
On June 15, the GDS Directorate , together with the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX) and the Spanish Footwear Manufacturers' Association (FICE), organized a meeting of manufacturers and retailers to expand German-Spanish trade relations. This was the Directorate's first experience with matchmaking. The Spanish side was represented by 21 factories, including CALLAGHAN and MIKAELA, while the German side was represented by 29 distributors.
GDS exhibition director Kirstin Deutelmozer says the goal of the meeting was to make it easier for factories to find commercial representatives.
In anticipation of the autumn exhibition, GDS representatives held a series of workshops for Spanish manufacturers, talking about the features of the German shoe market.
The international GDS shoe exhibition will be held in Dusseldorf on 7-9 on September 2011 of the year. Every season this exhibition attracts more than 800 shoe companies and about 24 500 thousand visitors.
The exhibition website www.gds-online.com already has a form for booking meetings between visitors and exhibitors. Russian businessmen planning a trip to Dusseldorf got a great opportunity to plan it in advance.
