Buffalo: Back to the Future

The legendary Buffalo brand owes its success to cowboy boots and the commercial flair of its founder Michael Conradi. The Buffalo brand appeared in Germany in 1979 as part of a retail project that offered a wide selection of cowboy boots. Then these boots were a favorite trend among teenagers. Therefore, the American name of the brand and the logo with monograms are the memory of the first successful product in the assortment of the company.

By the beginning of the 80's, Buffalo began actively creating his own shoes. White leather sports shoes with a flat sole, with a red emblem on the outside, were once a bestseller in the German market. It was especially cool to wrap the long shoelaces of this shoe around the ankle. The love of German men for this model made Buffalo designers come up with 20 variants of various shades later on. And from the middle of the 80's, the brand introduced the women's collection.


In 1995, Buffalo Boots GmbH created a line of women's sports shoes with platform soles, which at that time became ultra-innovative. Extremely high shoes were originally intended for tech parties and parades. But when once the stylist of the Spice Girls group bought shoes on the platform platform for the band’s show in the London Buffalo store, the company was not ready for the fantastic demand from fans: all shoes of any color and size were instantly sold out as soon as they hit the counter. From then until today, Buffalo has been one of the most famous brands in the international market.

The brand’s customer list includes many celebrities: Cher, Madonna, Cameron Diaz, Ariana Grande, Rita Ora, Dua Lipa. The face of the brand is the popular Spanish model Sita Abelan.


In the new spring-summer season, 2019 Buffalo will again present a wide range of trending sneakers that were popular in the 80's. They will become the hallmark of the collection. Already, such sneakers claim the role of the basic thing in the wardrobe, because they can be combined with absolutely any clothes - from a classic suit to a light chiffon dress.

Ugly sneakers or ugly sneakers are the revived trend of the 80 of the last century, which again burst into our lives. Massive sole, futuristic design, hypertrophic shock absorption, wide laces, bright and sometimes even flashy colors - you can recognize ugly sneakers by the combination of these characteristics.


Traditionally, the collection will also feature many different models of more elegant shoes. Continuing the theme of the revival of 80's trends, this year we are waiting for a whole collection of sandals in metallic neon shades.

The entire collection presented for the spring-summer 2019 season is unique and reflects the latest trends in the fashion world: elegant pumps, glamorous party boots, comfortable trainers, stylish high-heeled sandals and classic ballet flats.
