2 International PLUS-Forum “Online & Offline Retail 2015”: first results

On March 30 – 31, the International PLUS-Forum “Online & Offline Retail 2015”, organized by the magazine Retail & Loyalty, was held in Moscow. The event was devoted to the analysis of the prospects for the development of the retail industry in Russia, countries near and far abroad.

Traditionally, among the delegates of the International PLUS-Forum "Online & Offline Retail 2015" there were leading Russian and international experts in the field of online and offline retail, top managers and specialists of retail chains, food, non-food, DIY, fashion, HoReCa, Internet shops and banks from the Russian Federation and other countries of the world, representatives of air carriers and insurers, vertically integrated oil companies (VINK), tour operators, companies - vendors of equipment and software solutions, etc.

As part of the two-day conference of the PLUS-Forum "Online & Offline Retail 2015", 59 speakers spoke to the participants of the event. Let us remind you that the conference program was divided into 8 thematic sessions, each of which is dedicated to one or another key trend in the retail industry.

In parallel with the conference, on both days of the PLUS-Forum "Online & Offline Retail 2015", there was a representative annual exhibition of specialized business solutions, equipment and technologies from leading Russian and foreign companies, which presented information about successful projects and their plans for the near future at 52 stands.

It is no coincidence that in the 2015 year the Forum was visited by 945 delegates from Russia, countries of near and far abroad (compared to more than 500 participants in 2014). Given the growing interest in the Forum and the number of applications for participation, the Forum Organizing Committee in 2015 decided to hold the event in a two-day format.

The increased role and place of the event in the development of the industry was also noted by the Forum participants themselves, who agreed: this year there is obvious progress not only in the number of delegates and speakers, but also in the activity of the Forum guests during the conference in the hall, in our social networks and mobile annex Plus Forum. Note that delegates actively used this updated mobile application, which helped to orientate themselves at the exhibition and get acquainted with the conference program, create a personal schedule, and also make their work at the event more comfortable. Chat with the Forum participants made it possible for delegates to easily and naturally meet and communicate with colleagues, and a new interactive service made it possible for the speaker to find out the answer to any question of interest to the participant.
