On January 18, on the basis of the Linevsk vocational training center, a meeting was held under the leadership of the director of the Investment Development Agency Vladimir Nikonov on the creation of a training center for the future shoe cluster, the project of which is being implemented with the participation of Mac Senior, an investor from Italy.
For the operation of the enterprise will require about three thousand specialists.
As we wrote earlier, the cluster will include about 15 factories with a full production cycle - from leather processing and manufacturing of components to the production of footwear and leather goods. The estimated total production of footwear should be over 2,5 million pairs per year. According to preliminary estimates, investments in the project will amount to about 80 million euros, the implementation period is 3-5 years.
