31% of Russians save on clothes and shoes

A March poll conducted by the Romir research holding showed that over the past year about 31% of Russians were forced to save on the purchase of clothes and shoes.

Over the past 12 months, since March last year, only every tenth Russian was able to live without savings, and 89% of the population had to be saved on the most necessary. Such data follow from the results of the March survey of the Romir research holding. The survey "Romira" involved 1500 people aged 18 years, living in cities and rural areas in all federal districts of Russia. The research agency set a goal to elevate what Russian citizens had to save on due to rising prices and the complicated economic situation. In the course of the study, in particular, it turned out that about 31% of Russians save on the purchase of clothes and shoes.
