Canadian company Vessi produces waterproof knitted shoes

Vessi has found a way to make trendy knitted shoes waterproof. It took two years to develop the Flash-Knit technology, which provides the shoes with water-repellent properties, writes Footwearnews.

Technological material Flash-Knit consists of three functional layers, which include a shell, elastic polyester taking the form of the foot and nylon knitwear. The stretch effect, which gives the material created by the method of circular knitting, provides additional comfort when wearing.

The most important layer of Flash-Knit is a waterproof and water-repellent membrane.
To ensure greater comfort, the shoes are equipped with a light layer of an extra Vzero sole, which enhances the water-repellent effect and provides flexibility and cushioning. On the sole rubber protectors are placed, which also allow the shoe to remain dry in any weather.

The brand produces models for men and women in three colors. Retail prices for models of knitted shoes Vessi - $ 99 - for a pair and $ 410 - for 4 pairs of shoes. Shoe delivery is worldwide.
