Obuv Rossii increased revenue by 13%

According to the results of the report of Obuv Rossii Group under RAS for 9 months of 2016, the company's revenue increased by 13% and amounted to 6,3 billion rubles. Net profit for the reporting period reached 741 million rubles, an increase of 2015% compared to the same period in 0,8. EBITDA increased by 8% to RUB 1,6 billion. EBITDA margin was 25,3% (9M 2015 was 26,4%). The increase in comparable sales in monetary terms (like-for-like) for 9 months of 2016 amounted to 14,4%.

According to representatives of the Obuv Rossii GC, this year the situation in the shoe market is stabilizing: if last year the consumption of shoes decreased by 18-20%, then this year there is an increase. So, for all retail chains that are part of Obuv Rossii, the increase in sales in pairs for 9 months of 2016 amounted to 10%. This is due, among other things, to the effect of deferred demand, when buyers who put off buying shoes for a year or two, returned to stores this year.

Obuv Rossii continues to develop its own production: the company has developed a line of tactical footwear that can withstand overloads and plans to launch it in production at the end of the year. In September, Obuv Rossii signed a contract with Largos for the production and supply of 200 thousand pairs of military shoes in the amount of 500 million rubles in 2017. In the fall, Obuv Rossii 1,5 times expanded production facilities to 5,8 thousand square meters. In new premises the company will place a workshop for the production of special shoes and new cutting and sewing systems.

One of the important activities of the enterprise is additional services for customers. Obuv Rossii has connected the Westfalika online store to the Arithmetic system: now, when placing an order, customers can use the Arithmetic Club of Convenient Shopping Club cards and get a discount. In addition, in the fall, the Shoe of Russia stores began to accept the Mir national payment system card. Instead of the old gift certificates, Obuv Rossii issued a single gift card that allows you to make a purchase in any of the five chains of the group.

Group of companies Obuv Rossii was founded in 2003, the head office is located in Novosibirsk. The main business areas are footwear production, retail and wholesale trade in footwear and related products. Obuv Rossii is developing five shoe chains: Westfalika (mono-brand, mid-price segment), Pedestrian (multi-brand shoe supermarket), Emilia Estra (shoes boutique), Rossita (store for the whole family) and Lisette (fashion shoe salons). The shoe chain "Obuv Rossii" today has more than 450 stores in more than 100 cities. The company's revenue in 2015 according to RAS amounted to 9 billion rubles, net profit - 1,3 billion rubles.
