A.Testoni was acquired by the Hong Kong group Sitoy

The Italian luxury brand A.Testoni was bought by the Hong Kong-based Sitoy group, a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality leather goods. Among other things, Sitoy is a Testoni distributor in the Chinese market, writes Worldfootwear.com.

According to Bruno Fantechi, CEO of A.Testoni, the deal is the result of many years of collaboration between the brand and Sitoy in mainland China, where Sitoy is a key partner for brand development. The Hong Kong group has ambitious plans to expand the A.Testony retail chain in China, and they have already begun to come true. At the beginning of this year, three new brand stores opened in Chongqing and Shanghai.

A. Testoni founded in 1929 by Amadeo Testoni, who began his business with the opening of a small store in the Italian city of Bologna. Currently, the brand is represented all over the world, its products are distributed through its own single-brand boutiques and through affiliate multi-brand retail.
