Adidas not allowed to control prices for Reebok

In Japan, a German company was banned from controlling Reebok seller prices. A special trade commission accused Adidas of illegally pressuring retailers in an attempt to curb discounts on the EasyTone sneaker. In response, the German giant promised to abide by the rules.

Due to the fact that the company quickly responded to a warning from Japanese regulators, Adidas will not have to pay a fine. A company spokesman said compliance with the law is one of the core values for the brand.
