Adidas boosted profits

The net profit of the German company Adidas AG, one of the world's largest manufacturers of sports shoes, clothing and accessories, for the first quarter of 2016 increased by 57,8% compared to the previous year and amounted to 351 million euros. The largest revenue growth occurred in North America, China and Western Europe - by 31%, 30% and 26%, respectively. Meanwhile, according to the results of January-March, the company's revenue in Russia and the CIS fell by 15% - to 138 million euros. With a powerful start with record results for the first quarter, Adidas predicts revenue growth for the current year by an average of 15% in all regions, with the exception of Russia and the CIS.
