American sneaker and sneakerhead designer Sean Wotherspoon and Adidas Originals have released their second collaboration featuring a new version of the Superstar sneaker. The sneakers were dressed in a black base, but retained many of the details of the first collaboration - multi-colored floral embroidery, a bright orange tag on the tongue and the earth symbol on the laces.
The patchwork that Wotherspoon refers to reflects his passion for vintage and flea markets, as well as the designer's focus on nature and the environment. The latter theme can be seen in all joint projects between Adidas and Sean Wotherspoon. In this case, when creating a shoe model, scraps of old second-hand things were used. Specifically, the tongue of the sneaker is made from vintage Adidas Samba sneakers.
Shawn Wotherspoon's second adidas SUPEREARTH Superstar Collaboration is set to launch on October 28th.
