Adidas plans to use robots in the production of sneakers

The sports brand Adidas, which is engaged in the creation, development and sale of innovative sports shoes, clothes and accessories, plans to attract the German factory Speedfactory, which uses real robots and automated installations, to manufacture its sneakers. The use of such factories in the production of shoes will provide a more flexible Adidas approach to the buyer, as it will create high-quality sporting goods much faster and also have a positive impact on the environment, significantly reducing gas emissions into the atmosphere. Speedfactory in the first half of 2016 will release the first 500 pairs of conceptual sneakers.
