German brand Adidas is once again collaborating with Bob Marley's family, releasing two pairs of sneakers whose designs are reminiscent of the king of reggae and football.
The Bob Marley x Adidas Handball Spezial and SL72 sneakers are designed in green, yellow, and red—the colors of the Rastafarian movement. The uppers are made of suede and leather. The red insole is adorned with a badge featuring Bob Marley's face and the inscription "Football is Freedom," which also appears on the tongue of the SL72. The logo of the Jamaica Football Federation appears on the heel.
The SL72 sneaker's upper design is based on a geometric pattern that echoes vinyl records and sound waves.
