The result of another collaboration between adidas and Yohji Yamamoto for the Fall 2023 season is the updated design of the Stan Smith sneakers. The new Stan Smith features a matte leather upper. The pair is released in two color options.
Adidas x Yohji YamamotoIn the first version, the sneaker's black upper is complemented by a white tongue with co-branding in a combination of black and white. A matte black rubber outsole completes the look. And Adidas' signature triple stripes replace three thin dotted perforation lines.

The same dotted lines can be seen on the second version of the Stan Smith, which features a matte white leather contrasted with black leather tongues and a flat black rubber outsole.
Both pairs will be available in Yohji Yamamoto boutiques and online, as well as Adidas retail and online.
Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto's partnership has spanned over 20 years since their first joint collection, Y-3, in 2003. In a string of colorful collaborations, Yamamoto has brought his architectural design aesthetic to the German brand's signature footwear, including the Gazelle, Rivalry and Superstar sneakers.
