Alibaba will partner with PonyExpress

The leader of Chinese online retail Alibaba will cooperate with the Russian operator PonyExpress. At the moment, the logistics operator has entered into a major contract with the Chinese courier company STO Express, which serves Alibaba. According to the agreement, PonyExpress will deliver approximately 30-40 thousand packages from China daily to Russian recipients, which is 30-40% of the total number of orders from Russian customers on the group’s websites.

The main resource of Alibaba, the Aliexpress online store, is gaining more and more popularity in Russia. According to TNS, in July 2014, for the first time, it entered the top ten most visited sites among Russian users, collecting a monthly audience of 15,9 million people.
