Russian small and medium-sized companies will be able to present their products on the large Chinese online platform AliExpress. In the beginning, Russian sellers will be able to trade their goods in the domestic market, in the future, AliExpress intends to bring them abroad.
Requirements for Russian suppliers will be minimal, without restrictions on turnover, service and delivery, ”Kommersant writes with reference to the company’s management.
In addition, the Chinese online retailer is changing the position of its Tmall site in Russia, only large brands will be represented on it, and Tmall will continue to work both in terms of the market place model and the purchase and sales model. AliExpress is designed to promote the products of small and medium-sized businesses.
