American brand Rockport presented a collection of Washable spring-summer season 2012

The American Rockport brand made a presentation of the spring-summer 2012 collection of the year. The event was held in the format of a fashion show, at which the key news of the current season were presented. 

The highlight of the presentation was the Washable line, the models of which can be washed in an automatic washing machine. The revolutionary Machine Washable technology, based on the special treatment of leather and suede, as well as the use of persistent dyes, allows you to keep the shape and color of shoes unchanged even after repeated washing. 

The original design of the White studio, where the event was held, was fully consistent with the Washable concept: the room resembled the Laundromat, an American-format self-service laundry. The models of the new collection were displayed in conceptual “showcases”, which are the Whirlpool automatic washing machines installed in the hall. All guests had the opportunity to try on Washable models and receive them as gifts. 

Other key models of the 2012 spring-summer season were also presented during the show. The accent of the women's collection is small details and decorative elements. In men's collections, special attention was paid to the choice of materials and their original combination. The color scheme of the collections includes a variety of black, white, beige, blue, bronze and yellow shades. 

At the presentation, Evgeny Volynets, head of Rockport's product and marketing division in Russia and the CIS, spoke about the brand’s designers ’desire to create comfortable shoes specifically for residents of megacities, combining modern style and comfort in it.
