ANTA Sports went to Russia

Chinese manufacturer of sportswear and footwear ANTA Sports entered the Russian market. In the next five years, the company plans to open at least 70 single-brand stores and enter the 350 multi-brand stores in Russia, and 2016 single-brand names should appear in Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as in other large cities and regions of Russia.

Viktor An, six-time Olympic champion in short track speed skating, three-time Olympic champion in Sochi-2014, became the guest of honor at the celebrations associated with the release of the ANTA Sports brand. This is how the brand opens a new stage in its own history in Russia, which takes place under the slogan “New start, new opportunities”. The company is planning active expansion into the Russian market and sees great opportunities for brand development.

Events in honor of the presentation of the brand in Russia were held at Rosa Khutor on Krasnaya Polyana. Among the events - a show of the ANTA brand and a morning run with Viktor An, in which everyone took part, including a large number of brand partners in Russia.

As noted by Jan Tao, Deputy President of ANTA Corporation, “ANTA has long been associated with Russia. The first pair of shoes under the ANTA brand was sold on the Russian market 20 years ago, which was a definite step for the brand to enter the international arena. After 20 years, ANTA has grown into a professional international sporting goods manufacturing and retail company. Over the past 20 years, thanks to joint work with our Russian partners, we have studied the Russian market and Russian consumers. Today we are on the verge of a new stage for the ANTA brand, which opens up serious prospects for us. "

Viktor Schmidt, member of the board of directors of ANTA RUS, on the company's plans for the Russian market, said: "Our goal is to become one of the most popular brands on the Russian market in the near future."

Anta Sports began operations in China in 1994. By the end of 2013, Anta's own chain of stores consisted of 7757 stores and 416 Fila stores. ANTA Sports produces a wide range of quality sportswear and footwear in the mid-price segment.
