The Italian luxury brand Aquazzura has accused IT Collection, owned by the daughter of US President Ivanka Trump, of copying the shoe design. Ms. Trump will testify in court, Kommersant writes with reference to Bloomberg.
Italian manufacturer Aquazzura Italia claims that IT Collection has intentionally designed a cheaper analogue of Italian sandals. Ivanka Trump herself, through a lawyer, told the court that she did not have enough information about the shoes to testify, which was the subject of a lawsuit. “I did not participate in the creation of the concept, design, manufacture or sale of Hettie Shoe shoes,” she said, emphasizing that her participation was limited to the final approval of the seasonal line.
