Art Deco and Baroque from Econika

Shoe network "Econika" presented a New Year's collection of shoes. The designers of the brand were inspired by the two most luxurious and relevant historical styles - Art Deco and Baroque.

Art Deco aesthetics attract with a combination of straight lines and rigid forms with unconditional femininity. Perhaps that's why designers return to her season after season. In the Econika collection, this style is reflected in elegant models of shoes and sandals that combine simple silhouettes and sophisticated decor. Models with low, stable heels are decorated with gold straps, creating clear geometric lines and effectively braiding the ankle.

Key models are sandals with a gold-colored metal insert, in the style of the 20s and at the same time, futuristic, black lacquered ballet flats with decor in the form of a gold disc and strict lacquered pumps with sculpted gold heels.

The textures of the materials are completely different - leather, varnish, imitation of reptile leather and suede. The collection's characteristic mix of textures and colors in one model - a combination of matte black leather or suede with sparkling gold decor - looks festive and luxurious. The collection also includes bright saturated colors characteristic of Art Deco - fuchsia, red, blue, turquoise.

The New Year’s collection also features small bags on thin chain straps, metallized box bags and tiny clutches.

The baroque style with its inherent grandeur, splendor and excesses in the decor in the outgoing autumn loudly declared itself on the world catwalks. Econika designers presented shoes, boots and ankle boots from textiles, decorated with textured embroidery, knitted elements, velvet and lace decor items. In the New Year's collection, shoe textiles are chosen not only as a base material, but also for making heels. Many models are decorated with gold buckles, delicate lacing, as well as beads, pearls and decorative stones.

Of particular note are the suede slippers - lined with silk and embroidered with gold threads - they are the embodiment of baroque luxury and comfort. The colors are rich and dramatic: burgundy, emerald, dark blue, black.

Among the materials in the Baroque part of the collection, lace plays an important role - a combination of leather and elegant black lace is used in elegant stiletto heels, slip-ons and clutch bags.
