Asics increased sales in the EMEA region by 30%

In the first quarter of 2023, Asics EMEA recorded record sales, increasing revenue by 30,2%. Good results were shown by all categories of products, from running to tennis, indoor sports and sports style casual shoes, writes fashionmagazine.it.

Sales growth in the wholesale channel amounted to 34,4% yoy. The e-commerce channel also performed well, with sales in the first quarter of 2023 up 31,9% compared to the first quarter of the previous year.

The best results were recorded in France 69,5%, Italy +57%, Benelux countries +45,2%, Germany +39,2%, Sweden +55,1% and Great Britain +15,6%.

“This has been an incredibly profitable fiscal quarter for Asics EMEA,” comments Carsten Ahnbehaun, Asics Regional CEO.

Despite the difficult situation in the economy, the manager is optimistic about the future: “We continue to promote innovation, receiving feedback from consumers, experts and athletes. Our brand is strong and we see more and more people choosing Asics to find a healthy mind in a healthy body.”

In fiscal 2022, Asics EMEA grew by 14,2% and had an operating profit margin of 9%.
