Astrakhan shoe and clothing manufacturer PFC Duna-Ast took advantage of preferential financing from the Industrial Development Fund and allocated funds for technical re-equipment and the purchase of special equipment for the production of sneakers and molds for soles, reports the Astrakhan news information portal Bloknot.
Funds for technical re-equipment were provided to the factory on co-financing terms.
“For the implementation of new industrial projects, the Fund provides targeted loans at a rate of 3-5% per annum for a period of up to 7 years in the amount of 0,5 to 50 million rubles, stimulating the influx of direct investment into the real sector of the economy,” the regional Ministry of Industry said.
The design capacity of the new production line is 30 thousand pairs per month; a test batch of sneakers has already been produced.
Astrakhan PKF Duna-Ast produces shoes with textile uppers and made of artificial materials for men, women and children, as well as rubber shoes, safety shoes and workwear for fishing and hunting.
