The Authentic Brands Group acquired the Swedish brand Tretorn from Puma. The new brand will replenish the portfolio of Authentic Brands, which already owns the Spyder, Tapout and Prince brands.
“The acquisition of the Tretorn brand, which has more than 120 years of history behind it, promises our group growth in the tennis and luxury sports footwear segments,” said Jamie Solter, President and CEO of the American group. “Our goal will be to develop Tretorn's potential in other product categories, from accessories, shoes and hats to sportswear.”
