The London Design Museum has an unprecedented stir. There is a retrospective exhibition of shoe designer Christian Louboutin, which is already called the most popular in the history of the museum. Every day about 900 people come to see the creations of the French fashion designer, and today, in total, 38 000 visitors have already visited the exhibition. This number exceeded the number of people who visited Manolo Blahnik in 2003, and Hussein Chalayan: From Fashion And Back in 2009.
The Christian Louboutin retrospective exhibition opened on May 1 as part of the brand's 20th anniversary. According to the designer himself, this is not just a collection of different shoe models, but a whole collection of souvenirs and very rare exhibits. “It’s a real pleasure to see all my shoes collected in the same place for the first time,” says Christian Louboutin. It should be added that neither the designer himself expected such an influx of visitors,
nor the curator of the exhibition. The exposition can be seen until July 9, fashionunited.ru reports.
