Bally appoints Ruigi Villaseñor as new creative director

Ruigi Villaseñor, who has been developing his own fashion brand Rhude since 2015, has been appointed as the new creative director of the Swiss luxury clothing, footwear and accessories brand Bally, producing clothing and accessories sought after by celebrities around the world.

Villaseñor will oversee the creative direction of Bally. His first collection for Bally will be presented in spring-summer 2023. Born in Manila, Ruigi Villaseñor has been the founder, CEO and creative director of the Rhude brand since 2015. He began his career in Los Angeles and credits his passion for design and construction to his family, his mother was a dressmaker and his father an architect. Villaseñor is a Filipino and US citizen who grew up on several continents before emigrating to the States. As part of his own Rhude brand, Ruigi Villaseñor released two notable collaborations with PUMA, which included apparel and footwear.

Along with leading the creative direction of Bally, Villaseñor will continue to run his own successful business as he moves between Los Angeles and Switzerland in the coming years.
