Creative director Olivier Rousteing of French luxury brand Balmain has challenged athletic style footwear with a new sculpted sneaker silhouette inspired by aerodynamic speedboats.
Balmain Unicorn, $1195Layers of angular shapes create a complex, streamlined silhouette, while the curved outsole is composed of eight sectional shapes that together provide a cushioning system. The shoe's layered design is complemented by loop-shaped matte rubber inserts.
