Bangladesh records growth in exports of leather and leather products

Exports of other footwear increased by 34,92% in the first ten months of the current fiscal year to $374,9 million.
In 2020, Bangladesh was the 8th largest footwear producer (423 million pairs) and 9th largest consumer market (366 million pairs) in the world. Most of its production is supplied to the domestic market, with only 2020 million pairs exported in 72 (making it the 16th largest footwear exporter).
