The store’s design was developed by TPG Architecture, which is also the designer of the look of Louis Vuitton, Salvatore Ferragamo and Jimmy Choo boutiques. The design idea is based on natural materials that are close to the Birkenstock brand - cork, leather and felt.
Birkenstock has prepared a powerful advertising company for the opening, which includes advertising on billboards and social networks. The advertising campaign was developed in collaboration with American artist Amit Greenberg. Characters of famous cartoons are involved in it, the images of which are also used in the design of some shoe models, in particular, in the limited collection of Arizona sandals, which will be sold exclusively in the new flagship in New York at a price of $ 200 for a pair.
The store has a separate space for presenting brand models created in collaborations. The company notes that so far Birkenstock shoe models from last year's collaboration with 10 Corso Como and Barneys New York remain very popular.
