Birkenstock opens a new store in London

The new Birkenstock shoe store opens in Covent Garden, London. This discovery follows a series of launches. pop-up Birkenstock Box stores in Milan and Berlin in the summer and the launch of a pop-up store in collaboration with the Barney brand in New York in September.


The London store is located on an area of ​​about 20 sq. meters. The store features 250 shoe models of the brand, this is the widest range of Birkenstock in the UK. Brand Director General Oliver Reichert said that London is a key market for Birkenstock, and the company is proud to open its flagship in a historical and cultural area of ​​the city like Covent Garden.


Key materials of the brand - leather and cork are also key in the design of the space of London retail. A huge trace of sandal Birkenstock flaunts on one of the walls of the store, it is molded in concrete and framed in leather. Demonstration cabinets in the trading floor of the store are made of felt plates lined with piles of tightened leather straps.
