Birkenstock has released a collaboration with Toogood

German footwear brand Birkenstock has teamed up with British furniture, home and workwear brand Toogood to create a capsule that includes three shoe models, clothes and a bed.

This collaboration brings together the main strengths of Toogood and Birkenstock - functionality and sculptural design.

Toogood thought as they began to create new sandal silhouettes: “It's like redesigning a wheel. You have to keep this fine line. We wanted to do something different, but something that could be combined with the original, practical shape of the Birkenstock shoe. "

As a result, we got democratic slippers with a claim to the original architecture of the forms. All three models have classic Birkenstock shoes - two straps on the top of the shoe, somewhere flat, somewhere puffy. The models also differ in sole height. Slippers are made of different materials - canvas, suede, felt, leather. The range of colors of the collection includes black, white, bright yellow, gray.

For the new type of sandals, the designers of both brands have chosen suitable clothes in muted tones.

Completing the collaboration, Birkenstock and Toogood have created a new bed that combines the expertly designed Birkenstock sleeping system with Toogood's distinctive design approach. Lush layers of canvas and leather upholstery create a soft shape that sits on a cork base. The branded mattress Birkenstock Natural and lattice frame complement the functionality of the product.

All three silhouettes of Birkenstock and Toogood sandals, priced from $ 380 to $ 510, are available at matchfashion.com and birkenstock.com. The entire collection, including the bed, can be purchased at toogood.com.
