Charity ECCO walk

Danish brand ECCO® Walkathon held a charity event in Copenhagen

On August 26, the Danish brand ECCO held an ECCO® Walkathon charity event in Copenhagen to raise money for humanitarian purposes. Earlier this year, so-called Shop Walkathons took place in several cities in Denmark and Norway. The next city - participant of the action - Warsaw.

Walkathon is a walk. For every kilometer traveled, ECCO donates 1 euro to charity.

Since the first ECCO walks in 1999, more than 360 thousand people around the world have earned about 3,500 million euros.

Since 1999, ECCO® Walkathon has been held in a number of cities around the world, including Copenhagen, Aarhus, Oslo, Stockholm, Berlin, Amsterdam, Warsaw, San Francisco, Kyoto, Sapporo, Yokohama and Tokyo.

This time the raised funds will be transferred to three projects: SOS Children's Villages, WWF and Danish Heart Foundation. More than 16 people attended ECCO® Walkathon this year, and ECCO donated DKK 1 million (€ 134,243) to all three organizations.
