Brazilian footwear exports in the first two months of 2025 reached 21 million pairs, with a turnover of $174,23 million. In February, 9,6 million pairs were exported, up 18,9% in volume and 8,9% in value compared to the previous year.
The main markets were Argentina, the United States and Spain, with Argentina recording a 96,5% increase in volume and 62,2% in value. The average price of Brazilian shoes shipped abroad was $8,26.
In February 2025, Brazil exported 9,6 million square meters of leather. The semi-finished segment is growing, although with some peculiarities: +32,5% for Wet blue and -7,3% for split leather. The main sales markets were China, Italy and the United States. There is an increase in exports of leather products to Italy (which remains the second most important sales market): +19% compared to the previous year.
