BTK Group will enter the shoe market

The St. Petersburg company BTK Group, the largest supplier of uniforms for the Russian Armed Forces, has launched the production of footwear not only for law enforcement agencies, but also for outdoor activities. It is planned to produce 600 thousand pairs of shoes per year. The project will create 170 new jobs.

The launch of the line is the first stage in the development of the footwear business of BTK Group, which will allow debugging the main production processes. “In the future, the developed production methods can be used when launching a shoe factory, the construction plans of which are currently being considered by the company. These steps will allow the company to successfully enter the footwear market, which is the second largest after the clothing market, ”said Pavel Mayor, director of sales for safety at BTK Group.
