Burgerschuhe expands production capacity

Burgerschuhe, a Russian manufacturer of shoes at affordable prices, as part of its own strategy for the development of production, has decided to expand production sites for the production of blanks for upper shoes.

Recently, the company, whose head office and main production is located in St. Petersburg, acquired a building in the Tver Region with an area of 1000 square meters, which will be equipped with a factory for sewing blanks for the top. Currently, sewing equipment is being started there.

This is already the third Burgerschuhe site where blanks for shoe uppers are produced, the first in St. Petersburg, the second in the Pskov region. The production area of the Pskov factory at the beginning of the year was increased by 40% in order to create new jobs, and the launch of a new factory in the Tver region, according to the company's plans, in 2018 will increase the total volume of footwear production by 30%. At present, the enterprise produces about 300 thousand pairs of shoes per year.

According to Nikolai Troitsky, head of the sales and marketing department at Burgerschuhe, the development of sewing sites is now the main task of the company. “In St. Petersburg, where the head office of Burgerschuhe is based, there is a problem with the search for specialists in working specialties, in particular seamstresses. This is the reason for the emergence of new factories in small regional centers outside the Northern Capital, ”he says.

Among other news of the St. Petersburg shoe brand is the appearance in the Burgerschuhe collection of a new line of inexpensive shoes made of synthetic materials Doctor Burger, which is made in Spain, and the collection of summer shoes made of colored leather, the top blanks for which are also sewn at a Spanish factory. A collection of multicolored leather sandals and sandals has already arrived at 16 Burgerschuhe branded stores and affiliate retailers.
