The Polish footwear company CCC is leaving the Austrian market, the decision will come into force by the end of September. Out of 29 CCC Austria stores, 46 of the 14 stores are acquired by the large Polish retailer Pepco, which offers a wide range of goods, from clothing to cosmetics and school supplies. Another 3 CCC Austria stores are to be closed, and the remaining XNUMX will be converted into HalfPrice, a low-cost fashion store chain, writes Worldfootwear.com.
The decision to close stores in Austria is part of CCC's strategy to "reorganize its retail network in Western Europe." CCC entered the Austrian market in 2013, and the Polish shoe retailer expanded rapidly, opening its 50 stores in Austria in October 2019.
