Black sneakers are the bestsellers among the male audience Lamoda

Online platform for the sale of fashion products Lamoda has prepared a report on the shopping preferences of its customers, dividing them by gender. The report notes that traditionally women are more active consumers of fashion-related goods, but this year, the activity of online purchases from the male part of consumers has noticeably increased.

“Women have made 7% more online orders this year than a year earlier. In absolute terms, they are still in the lead. This year they ordered 2,7 times more often than men. A year earlier, the gap was even more significant - in 2020, women made 3,2 times more orders than men. " 

It is also noted that men more often than women buy sports goods than women (their share of purchases in this segment is 20% higher), footwear (by 6,2%), premium brands (by 2,4%). The most popular items among the male customers of Lamoda this year were T-shirts, sneakers, sneakers, jeans and sweatpants. Women, in addition to T-shirts and jeans, often order dresses, sneakers and trousers. The leaders of online sales for men were black sneakers, and for women, a basic white t-shirt.

In the premium category, men most often buy T-shirts, polos, baseball caps, sneakers and underwear sets. The favorite brands of the "premium" category among the male audience of Lamoda are Polo Ralph Lauren, Boss and Hugo.

Women at Lamoda buy T-shirts, bags, dresses, sneakers and sunglasses in the range of premium goods, and prefer clothes from Polo Ralph Lauren, Karl Lagerfeld and Boss, and shoes from Michael Michael Kors, Högl and Karl Lagerfeld.

Men are more demanding on delivery: they choose special options more often than women - express delivery, delivery within a certain hour and within a 15-minute interval.
