Christian Louboutin Unveils New 'More Comfortable' 'Miss Z' Pumps

French luxury brand Christian Louboutin has heeded the requests of its discerning customers who dream of Louboutin's spectacular high-heeled pumps being a little more comfortable. The new "Miss Z" model has a number of new functional features, writes Footwearnews.com.

The brand paid special attention to the front part of the shoe. Miss Z has a slightly longer and wider toe, which allows the toes to feel more free. Also, a new soft insole is responsible for providing greater comfort.

Additionally, with the Miss Z, Christian Louboutin introduced the “Eternal Red Sole,” a new coating that appears on the Miss Z pumps in place of the brand’s traditional red patent leather sole. The sole is made by injecting thermoplastic polyurethane into the brand’s standard leather sole. The polished finish in Louboutin’s signature red color gives the shoes greater durability and traction.

The heel creates an optical illusion – “it seems higher than it actually is,” the manufacturer notes.

The Miss Z shoes will be part of the brand's collection in four heel heights from 60mm to 120mm, and there will also be a mule version with an 80mm heel height. Both models will be available in a variety of colours and materials, including classic lacquer, five metallic shades and a new seasonal print.

In addition, the sole of the “Miss Z Suola Strass” model, presented exclusively online, will be decorated with red rhinestones.

The Miss Z shoe, in a vibrant color palette that includes metallic tones, was first presented at the Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week.
