French luxury brand Christian Louboutin has released a collection of shoes LoubiFamily, which includes models for adults, children and even pets. The collection will be available in pop-up stores in London, New York and Shanghai, as well as online in early November.
The LoubiFamily collection for the whole family threatens to develop into a separate category of the brand's family assortment, under which a flagship boutique in Paris should appear in 2023.
“The idea for LoubiFamily was born during self-isolation. For the first time in a long time, I had the opportunity to spend several months in the same place with my closest friends, my daughters and our dog. I wanted to explore the idea of adulthood for children and childhood for adults, mixing fabrics, colors and playing with details,” explained Christian Louboutin. - It's a family line, because it's a whole universe, it's 360 degrees. Children want their parents' shoes, but parents may also want their children's shoes."
In the LoubiFamily collection, three models of sneakers will feature cartoon superheroes - Superluby, Vanderluby and Lemur Piloo, who personify the designer's imaginary children's world of adventure and impressions. Other highlights of the collection are the paired mother-daughter Melodie Chick ballerinas and, for dressier occasions, the Melodie Strass, which appear in the teen version as Maison's Follies Strass shoes. For pets and dogs, the luxury brand offers leather collars and harnesses adorned with a variety of Louboutin branded studs.
