British footwear brand Clarks Originals, known primarily for its iconic model of casual "deserter" boots, has turned to collaboration with one of the most influential people in the sneaker world - the American young designer Ronnie Feig.
After decades of successful collaborations with various shoe brands such as Asics, Puma, Dr. Martens, Converse and others, the founder of New York street fashion brand Kith Ronnie Fieg has taken on the task of creating a new sneaker model for Clarks Originals. The Fieg x Clark's collaboration shoes are intended to find a place in the space between casual brown shoes and sneakers, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship. In a word, Ronnie Fieg worked on creating “sport casual” shoes in its premium version.
The result is a sneaker with a somewhat conservative look. The model is presented in several color options - from monochrome sand and gray - to a mix of bright contrasting shades of sand, red, and aqua. The release of the new model coincided with the presentation of a new collection of Kith clothing with items for spring and summer - sports jackets, Jordan shorts, and bucket hats. On April 16, Fieg x Clark's sneakers hit Kith stores and online.
