French luxury footwear brand Clergerie continues the evolution of traditional retail. Only six months have passed since the opening of the brand's new boutique in Paris on rue Saint-Honoré, and now a new store opens in New York on Madison Avenue, writes Footwearnews.
The design of the boutique was developed by the Milan design bureau Vudafieri Saverino Partners. Its design uses contrasting colors.
Interior details - black and white checkerboard pattern of a marble floor, blue velvet sofas, glass panels for shoes, aluminum wall cladding made in the form of plates of the original geometry.
The launch of the Clergerie boutique is timed to coincide with the launch of the brand’s new spring collection, which will appear both in the traditional Clergerie retail store and in the online store. Collection models were developed by David Turnel-Bossiere, who last year took the post of creative director of the luxury brand.
The new Clergerie collection, called the 901 Collection, includes three sneaker models. Sneakers in yellow and black colors are released in a limited edition and will be sold only in the new New York boutique.
