Italian Coccinelle was inspired by the colorful streets of Portugal and released a collection dedicated to one of the streets of old Porto. Rua da Alegria is the name of the new collection of the brand, which includes various models of bags, shoes and scarves, wallets.
This street of traditional shuttered houses, whose walls are covered with painted azulejo tiles and attract attention with their varied palette and color combinations, has inspired creative people to create works of art on more than one occasion.
Coccinelle has embraced the holiday spirit and released a collection as colourful as the streets of Porto, with an emphasis on details and intricate patterns in the design of bags and accessories. As befits a holiday collection, the shoe line features models for the hottest season of the year – espadrilles, flat-soled flip-flops, as well as comfortable loafers, sandals with a small heel and ballet flats. The bag line features a large selection of tote bags, clutches and compact bags with a large number of pockets and compartments, which are ideal for strolling around the city while travelling.
The brand presented the Rua da Alegria collection to a wider audience during the recent Milan Fashion Week.
