Collonil Nano Received International Quality Certification

Collonil Nano, an innovative nanotechnology-based shoe care product line, has received an international TÜV quality certificate.

TÜV is a German non-governmental structure that deals with technical supervision of manufactured products. Despite the fact that the TÜV certification is not mandatory, absolutely all companies in the European Union pass it, from a small company producing children's plasticine to metallurgical concerns. Traditionally, products that have passed this certification have a very high degree of confidence of European consumers, for whom the TÜV abbreviation is a quality mark.

To pass all the necessary tests, the Nano Complete foam was sent to the TÜV laboratory, designed to cleanse, nourish and care for all types of leather and is the main product of the innovative Collonil Nano shoe care line. This product was tested on smooth leather, suede, nubuck and synthetic material. After Nano Complete treatment, these surfaces were tested for water and oil repellency, as well as water and vapor permeability. Collonil's assertion that the nanoparticles contained in Nano Complete form a specific serrated structure on the surface of the leather and do not allow moisture to penetrate into the material has been especially tested.

During the tests, Nano Complete was found to have good water repellency on all materials presented. Also, the test showed excellent vapor permeability of the surface treated with foam, proving that after application of the product, the leather of the shoe retains the ability to "breathe". An important test result was the conclusion that Collonil Nano Complete is an environmentally friendly and harmless product for humans and the environment.
