Rei Kawakubo, creative director of Comme des Garçons Homme Plus, presented the new men's collection for autumn-winter 2022-23 in Tokyo. The collection is called Nomad, which means "Nomad" in English. In addition to clothes - woolen outfits, woolen coats, wide cotton tunics, multi-buttoned jackets and sculpted hats, the brand presented two shoe collaborations.
In collaboration with designer Georges Cox, Comme des Garçons has reimagined two of its iconic footwear designs from the late designer John Moore, the double-strap sandal and Creeper-inspired chunky-soled oxford. CDG also worked with Nike to produce two-layer aged leather, which was used to create the exclusive Air Max 97 models also featured in the brand's new collection.
