After Converse launched an updated version of its most popular Chuck Taylor All Star II sneaker model in July, the brand made several more attempts to update this style. The last of the options will be presented this week - this is a winter version of sneakers, which, by and large, can safely be called boots.
The new model combines the classic style of sneakers, and the functions of protection from adverse weather conditions. These are the first moisture resistant brand sneakers. The model has a water-repellent stocking, a neoprene collar and backdrop also protect against the ingress of water into the boot, and the presence of a thermal barrier allows keeping the feet warm. Premium leather with special moisture protection and a water-repellent tarp also provide comfort and confidence to the wearer in the autumn slush and frost. The Chuck II also boasts a thick rubber grooved sole with a Nike Lunarlon cushioning system that creates a soft feel when walking.
The first batch of winter Chuck II, Converse released in four colors: light gray, ocher, black and dark chocolate.
