Cravatex Brands (CBL) will develop Vans in India

Cravatex Brands Limited, part of the Indian holding company Batra Group, has announced a partnership with the American VF Corporation, the owner of the Vans running brand, Worldfootwear.com writes.

The main focus will be on enhancing the distribution of the Vans brand, through the development of a retail chain, with the aim of increasing the number of stores to 50 within five years.

“We are delighted to see Vans in our brand portfolio. Vans is an iconic global brand and fits perfectly with our strategy to build Cravatex Brands' flagship Indian platform for fashion, sportswear and health, ”says CBL CEO Rohan Batra.

The Batra Group operates in Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and Africa, and has offices in Nepal and London. The CBL brand portfolio also includes brands such as FILA, Matrix, Stages, Les Mills, Ziva and Proline Fitness.
