Crocs plans to quadruple branded retail chain in India

The Indian division of the American Crocs shoe brand seeks to expand its presence in the local market by expanding its retail network by more than 2020 stores by the end of 250. Currently, the Crocs chain of stores in India has about 60 outlets, writes worldfootwear.com.

Crocs India is expanding its franchising network by opening Crocs branded stores and multi-brand retail on its own in first and second tier cities. In the future, the company expects to expand its presence in large department stores such as Lifestyle, Shopper's Stop, Pantaloons and in multi-brand stores such as Metro, Inc.5 and Regal.

According to World Footwear Yearbook, a study of the global footwear market, India ranks third in terms of footwear consumption. Its share in global footwear consumption is 10,6%.
