Crocs to Use AI to Create Custom Jibbitz Charms

American plastic clog maker Crocs is always incredibly creative in its marketing tactics. The new “game” for Crocs fans could be creating customized Jibbitz – charms that attach to the top of shoes – using an AI-powered design platform.

To this end, the American company has partnered with AI-powered clothing design platform Ablo.

Using Ablo, Crocs customers can create fully customized Jibbitz charms by simply uploading a photo or entering a text prompt to choose from a variety of unique art styles to help bring their ideas to life. Once their design is complete, users can head to the brand's website to purchase their Jibbitz.

The partnership is a way for the company to capitalize on the growing consumer trend toward customization and creating interactive and immersive experiences.

“Jibbitz has always been a fun way for everyone to express their individuality. With Ablo, we give them the freedom to take personalization to the next level,” said Michael Scarpellini, head of partnerships at Space Runners, the fashion tech company specializing in AI and Web3 technologies that sells Ablo.
