Ralf Ringer will create a brand for women

One of the largest Russian shoe manufacturers, Ralf Ringer, plans to create a separate brand for women's shoes, the riamoda portal reports with reference to marker.ru. Before that, during 13 years, the company produced only men's shoes, and the Ralf Ringer brand itself was positioned primarily as shoes for men.

The opening of a new format is associated with an increase in demand for shoes for women. The women's assortment at Ralf Ringer appeared in the 2010 year, today shoes for ladies account for about 30% of the total sales of the company’s retail retail. According to preliminary forecasts, in three to four years this indicator may amount to 70%.

According to the company's press service, the launch of the women's assortment was due to the development of the Ralf Ringer branded retail network. The turnover of stores with shoes for men and women is much higher than only for men.

“Launching the women's collection, we primarily relied on the wives of the ralfists, as couples come to us together,” the company explains. “Until now, the Ralf Ringer women's collection has been dominated by“ comfortable shoes ”with a flat sole or with a small heel, but from the new season the company is going to release traditional high boots as well.”

Ralf Ringer is the largest Russian manufacturer of men's footwear. Since the company was founded in 1996, production has grown 44 times: from 30 thousand pairs in the first season to 1 million 382 thousand pairs in 2011. In 2010, the first Ralf Ringer women's shoe collection went on sale. Ralf Ringer shoes are produced in three of their own factories (in Moscow, Vladimir and Zaraysk). The distribution network includes more than 1500 retail outlets, including 92 branded retail stores.
