The French company Decathlon plans to build five sporting goods hypermarkets in five large cities of Siberia - Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk and Tomsk by 2020. With the average cost of building one hypermarket 300 million rubles. investments in the project will amount to approximately 1,5 billion rubles, Kommersant reports. The company is considering the possibility of renting existing sites and building hypermarkets from scratch. In Krasnoyarsk, the company plans to open the first hypermarket (area 3,5 thousand sq. M) on the leased area in 2017 year. It will be located in a separate building on a land plot of 2,4 ha (at the suppression of Aviatorov St. and 9 May Street). In Novosibirsk, we are talking about construction, the opening of the Novosibirsk hypermarket may take place in 2018 year. Its area will be 3 – 3,5 thousand square meters. m
